Position Description<br>
We are currently seeking a Senior Project Planner to be primarily responsible for leading the planning, scheduling, resource management, tracking, and analysis for an IT Infrastructure project.  This person will report to the Project Manager.<br>
<br>
Successful candidates must be very familiar with the PMBOK standards for project planning, executing, and monitoring & controlling.  The candidate must be able to independently lead the project team in the development of the projects execution plan, maintain the plan using MS Project or @Task, conduct schedule and critical path analyses, and provide regular project progress reports to the Project Manager.<br>

Duties<br>
	Lead the development of the Projects Master Schedule and maintain the plan for the duration of  project<br>
	Assist in gathering information needed to define scope, project activities, and task descriptions<br>
	Ensure the WBS is accurately defined, monitored, and maintained<br>
	Resource Load the project plan and validate resource allocation plan, ensuring that they are accurately aligned to support task & resource requirements.<br>
	Perform schedule critical path and related variance analysis, while possessing a complete understanding of related scheduling practices.<br>
	Must communicate effectively with the Project Manager, Infrastructure Manager, and technical project team.<br>
	Develop, update, and provide analysis of progress towards the baseline plan.<br>
	Provide accurate and timely progress reports to the Project Manager<br>
	Ensure adherence to scope control processes and standards<br>
	Ensure that the critical path, project risk and trending analysis, project scheduling structures, adhere to best practices.  <br>
<br>
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:<br>
	Minimum of Five (5) years of Project Planning & Scheduling experience <br>
	Must have strong planning and scheduling skills, including risk and critical path analysis <br>
	Expert knowledge and experience with using Microsoft Project or @Task as a scheduling tool<br>
	Demonstrated knowledge in assisting cross-functional teams in planning and scheduling tasks<br>
	Ability to work without supervision to develop and maintain project  plans and schedules <br>
	Ability to work and communicate well with others in a team environment<br>

Kaplan University has an opening in its Financial Aid Department for an energetic and team oriented candidate. Applicants should possess quality customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and must be capable maintaining high levels of integrity while making decisions in a faced paced environment. Preferred applicants possess a Bachelors Degree and two years of customer service related experience. The successful candidate must have Financial Aid Experience.<br>
<br>
Duties:   The primary duties of the Financial Aid (FA) Officer are to meet with students as needed to that their FA package is completed and ready for payment within the first 30 days of the start of a new term. To ensure this happens, the officer needs to transmit ISIR files daily, meet with lenders and communicate with home office on grant and loan rosters and monitor the timeliness of the funds flowing through the college. Have students re-apply for financial aid prior to the term it will be needed and keep all documents current. Assist students in professional judgment paperwork, complete reports as requested by the home office and supervisor and complete CLASS transactions as required to document information for proper receipt of funds or notes on the student that may be necessary for other staff. The goal is 97% collection of all funds prior to the end of the term and funds received within first 30 days of the term to guard against R2T4 issues. <br>

The following are essential qualifications, tasks, duties and areas of responsibility that the campus Financial Aid Officer agrees to accept as a condition of employment. Job responsibilities are not limited to the items listed below.<br>

 <br>
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:<br>
 <br>
1.       Meet with current students: process their FAFSA, determine eligibility, explain award letter, credit balance statement and rights and responsibilities and update FA file. <br>
2.       BAD DEBT  Give numbers for processing portion of bad debt report. Work with financial manager to clear up problem students. Pull students for paperwork, etc. Daily or as needed.<br>
3.       CLASS  Update disbursement schedules on a term-by-term basis. Run expected cash flow report weekly to check for discrepancies. Email weekly reports to HO. Export ISIR files daily for transmission. Email monthly reports to HO the last day of every month.<br>
4.       CURRENT/REENTER students  Renew FAFSA and loans as needed. Update award letters when changes made and after every new award year. Work with bookkeeper for renewals and reenters to determine awards and loan amounts. Document track current student files and run reports one term prior to graduation to complete file. Mail loan responsibility forms from lender prior to graduation. Do exit interviews as needed.<br>
5.       DROPS/GRADS  Notify ISLLC of drops, cancelled loans, changes in amounts or disbursements dates either by phone or email. Work with lenders, USA Group and ICAC to guarantee loans and update grad status. As needed. Fill out information sheets for ISLLC, USA Group, Sallie Mae or forward on to other campuses as needed.<br>
6.       EDCONNECT Transmit ISIR files daily to CPS. Import files, print, copy, & process ISIRs. Track ISIRS on spreadsheet for ITG. Email sara files to other campuses.<br>
7.       ISLLC/ICAC/IASFAA/Financial Aid Fairs  Meet with lenders, Amy Gaffney, ISLLC reps, etc. for updates on new procedures. Attend IASFAA to network with other FAOs. Help plan financial aid fairs by working closely with lenders and Amy. Meet with representatives from several agencies on updates. As needed. <br>
8.       ITG/Iowa National Guard  Create rosters and pay list with ICAC software on eligible terms. Check for accuracy and voucher amounts. Update awards for students if award changes or delete if no longer eligible. Keep ITG spreadsheet updated for ITG eligibility.<br>
9.       LOAN ROSTERS  Look up students to check for eligibility, SAP, and approve via fax to HO. Send copies of MYF and/or R&R with rosters for new students. When disbursement register is received via email approve to pay for bookkeeper. Give copy of rosters to financial manager. After rosters are paid, keep in notebook for tracking. Daily or as needed.<br>
10.    MISC - Make financial aid packets as needed. Keep flyers and loan supplies current. Keep display in main hall full. Work with work study on special projects. Order FAFSAs for other campuses and send when requested. As needed.<br>
11.    NEW students  FA appointments when needed. Document appointments with notes and comments for FA staff. Work with FA staff to retrieve taxes, other documentation for verification, as well as loans. Track starts on spreadsheet and update daily showing when loans/PELL are processed. Run document tracking after files are transferred over to my office on new starts. Track Mapping Your Future and Rights & Responsibilities in notebook for loan rosters.<br>
12.    PELL  Voucher PELL for new/current students. Run POG report and credits scheduled report for HO with each voucher. Determine by reports if there are discrepancies or if someone has not been vouchered due to reenter status or drop. Approve to pay PELL for bookkeeper and keep copy in notebook to track vouchers. Voucher once a week per home office. Send weekly report via email to assigned home office personnel.<br>
13.    PROCESS LOANS  Collect loans that are approved and/or verified for new/current students. Create loan sheet and send to Bonnie at HO for approval. When approved, transmit via WhizKid to ISLLC. When guarantee comes in match it to loan and check for discrepancies. Check awards against what is entered in CLASS. Document track Notice of Guarantees. Enter awards that need to be. Check for proof of graduation and MYF. Do follow-up on any loan holds. On a daily basis or as needed.<br>
14.    Sallie Mae  Order flyers, keep spreadsheet of Sallie Mae loans & status. Download and print prom notes to distribute to FA staff/student for signatures and other documentation. Download and print payment rosters to give to bookkeeper to post. As needed.<br>
15.    Scholarships  Update and distribute to students arrange emails via Mail Bomber to announce scholarships to students. Work with FA staff to award term scholarships. Update financial aid board. As needed.<br>
16.    VA  Certify VA students on a term by term basis. Check attendance and status on a bi-weekly basis to correct certifications. Work with VA for any problems, discrepancies. Participate and prepare VA audits, maintain information with VA software. Keep spreadsheet of attendance on bi-weekly basis. Keep files updated with current transcripts and other paperwork relating to VA benefits. On a term basis or as needed.<br>
17.    VERIFICATION  Determine verification status and collect proper documentation to complete it via Beth or student. Update award letters if changes due to verification. Notify FA staff of changes in award and/or package to determine new loans or cash payment options. On a daily basis or as needed.<br>
18.    WHIZ KID  Transmit loans to ISLLC. Check response files for problem guarantees. Work with FA staff to clear loans, collect reference info, signatures, etc to clear loan. Track loans and loan transmissions in notebook for tracking for bad debt info. Run WhizKid reports to check for loans and check against rosters. Weekly or as needed. <br>
19.    Work Study  Determine work study awards for new/current students. Complete paperworkeligibility form, award letter, copy of ISIR for bookkeeper and HO. Send students to bookkeeper for employee forms for HO.<br>
20.    Call students to follow-up on pending paperwork and apply deadlines. <br>
21.    Complete any correspondence assigned supervisor. <br>
22.    Pull students from class to resolve pending FA issues.<br>
23.    Communicate daily with admissions staff on status of students and any issues that may hinder the student starting classes. <br>
24.    Complete all professional judgment paperwork required by the home office as needed and requested by FA team. This includes income decreases and dependency over-rides.<br>
25.    Meet with any student on a walk-in basis who is seeking assistance on FA questions.<br>
26.    Prepare bad debt reports as assigned.<br>
27.    Attend all meetings as assigned.<br>
28.    Share responsibility as assigned by supervisor to meet financial team goals.<br>
29.    Participate in orientation sessions for new students as assigned.<br>
30.    Assist in audits as needed and correct any discrepancies if needed.<br>
