Included with unit are 3 new in box evaporative pads that cost $23 each for a total of $69 before tax.
Also included are 7, 64 oz (half gallon) dual function sealed jugs of water treatment, Best Air Golden Solution Combo bacteriostatic AND scale preventative. These are $10 each before tax for a total of $70.
Also included are at least 10 gallons of Distilled water, $1.37 each before tax. Think I have a couple more too somewhere. $13.70.
You DO NOT have to use distilled water and your "included water treatment" works with tap water to keep it just right.
I just plugged it in and tested it. Ready to go. Everything here to fill, treat and get started.
I paid $195 for the unit. Then add $69, $70 and $13.70 and I have $347 in this, before tax. Tax would have been another $24.
