If you like to crochet and want to crochet doll clothes for your children or grandchildren, this collection is a MUST HAVE.
This is a 4-year set of detailed crochet patterns for the years 1991-1994; there are 12 patterns for each year (one for each month). In years 1992, 1993 &1994, there is also an extra bridal gown pattern.
“Annie's Calendar Bed Doll Society” refers to a collection of crochet patterns for creating bed dolls and dresses for standing dolls (i.e. Barbie), often with a Victorian or historical theme (see photos). These patterns were created by Annie Potter and published by Annie's Attic.
Key characteristics of “Annie's Calendar Bed Doll Society”:
• Pattern Collections: The Society released collections of patterns, often as a "Collector's Series" for a specific year, such as the 1991 Collector's Series or the 1992 Collector's Series.
• Monthly Patterns: These collections included 12 monthly patterns, featuring different historical styles of clothing, such as Victorian day dresses or evening dresses.
• Format: The patterns were presented in separate pamphlets or booklets and stored within a slipcase and folder. This set includes the years 1991-1994; each year has its’ own slipcase & folder. Each 9” x 12”, tri-fold pamphlet, is printed on semi-ridged paper and includes a beautiful, glossy photo of the finished dress on the cover, followed by 3 pages of detailed instructions. In my photos, I have included the September 1992 pamphlet as an example.
“Annie's Calendar Bed Doll Society” patterns within this Collector's Series, were sent out monthly and each year's collection contained 12 monthly patterns. The structure of these collections, with one unique pattern for each month of the year, required a monthly subscription of $10 per month.
With each year costing $120, this 4-year set originally cost $480. All 51 of these patterns (4 years + 3 bridal gowns) are in excellent, “like-new” condition. I’m asking for only $55, was $80 or best offer for the entire 4-year set. Will not separate.
