White Model 363 Zigzag sewing machine

Received as a either a wedding gift, or for 1st born child, in (we estimate) 1954. Used regularly by our Mother through the 1970s.

This is the first commercially available zigzag sewing machine for home use in the USA. Works well, but I would recommend replacing the power cord, as with any 70-year-old electrical item, though it doesn't show excessive deterioration. It will likely need a thorough cleaning, if you intend to use it or put it on display. The case is 90%+ intact, but missing the tabs on the latches and has "front" written on the base and cover. Also could use a cleaning.
