Selling a very unique, one-of-a-kind chunk from a bur oak tree I felled on my property. This piece was from a 100+ year old tree in our forest. It appears to be a bark "scab" that grew around a trimmed tree branch that had been removed at one time. These "scabs" take many years to develop. This piece fell away from the trunk when it was being taken down. Bur oak trees are known for their very thick bark / exteriors.

If you are looking for a rare, one-of-a-kind and unique patterned tree chunk, this is an interesting potential art piece of wood from an ancient burr oak tree. These trees in our area can live to be several hundred years old. Could be used in an art project, terrarium, epoxy pour project, etc. Let your imagination soar.
