This antique “baby’s plate” (which belonged to my mother’s sister who was born in 1914 and then to my mother who was born in 1925) is a unique piece of history. This semi-porcelain, 8” round plate features a little girl holding a teddy bear & doll. This plate is in its original form and was made in England by The Foley Pottery Company and founded in 1897. It is perfect for collectors of vintage and unique dinnerware pieces.
The poem says, "Little Kate one summer day, took teddy bear and doll to play, little Sadie skipping near, said, aren’t you coming teddy bear?"
