Pal Bell Co. Hammered Bronze Catchall/Bowl/Ashtray; 1960s Maurice Ascalon Israel; Color: Verdigris
This limited edition ashtray, identifiable by the Pal-Bell trademark as-cast into the bronze artwork (see pic), is a must-have for any collector of early Israeli art. While not yet a true antique, this item has long, long been out of production. It was gifted to my parents as a housewarming art piece by my grandmother, who bought it in Israel in the 1960’s.
The design of the bowl features a sleek and modern look, with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic. The bowl itself is made of solid bronze, ensuring its durability and longevity. Its size is perfect for any room, making it a versatile piece that can be used in a variety of settings. Whether you're an art collector or just looking for a stylish and functional catchall or ashtray, this limited edition piece is a great choice. The variation in choice of backgrounding is provided here for the best possible balance of color retention and detail contrast in the fewest number of views. 1lb, 8oz. (o.68kg)
