This is a large heavy upholstered Victorian 19th century Bergere armchair in the Eastlake style

Made from solid black walnut wood with beautiful grain patterns and a rich color
Excellent for a parlor, living room, church rectory, etc., some of the carving could resemble Christian symbols
The designs include a burl walnut medallion cartouche, incised details, a carved trestle, additional carvings, turnings, finials, fluting, and rectilinear / geometric patterns.
Attached cushions covered with burgundy cranberry color velvet upholstery fabric
Minimal wear from normal, light use
Climate controlled, pet free, smoke free, took outside briefly to photograph in natural light
