My father was stationed in “Occupied Japan” in 1945/1946 and brought these 2 copper bud vases home with him.

These fluted vases stand about 6 ¾” tall and the round base is 2 ¾” in diameter. The base is embossed with “To Memory of Landing in Japan.”

A similar single vase is currently listed on eBay for $44.95 + $11.95 shipping (see photo); asking $70, was $100 or best offer for the pair.
