1978 Corvette Indy Pace Car Limited Edition, 25th Anniversary model. 4 speed, glass T tops, tilt telescoping steering wheel, air conditioning, power steering, power windows, power door locks. I purchased the car in 2020 after the previous owner replaced the 182 HP L-48 motor with a new Blue Print engine with 365 HP (BP3501CTC1), an Aluminum radiator, and a new clutch while the motor was out. The motor now has 6,500 miles on it. The odometer shows 26,893 so I assume it has 126,893 miles.
Since I had the car, I installed new weather stripping, window mechanisms, window motors, electric door locks. I had a mechanic put new brakes, air conditioner compressor, update freon to R-134. I have also done numerous little things to update the car. I bought the car as a retirement toy, and it is now time to pass on to someone else.
The car looks great, runs great, and is a real head turner. It is so much fun to drive down the street and see people taking pictures of the car at stop lights.
