If you are searching for a great barn find and a really nice 1957 Chevy, Bel Air, 2-door hardtop, that is basically all original from the factory with all matching numbers and is in immaculate condition, then you may consider looking at this one.
56 years back, and due to some hard times and raising a family, I decided to park my 57.
Before I parked it 56 years ago, it was always garaged, and I never drove it in the winter.
When I parked it, I put it up on 4 stands on the frame, drained the gas, lubed the engine with oil, put a car cover on it and built a wall in the garage to protect it. I turned the engine over every year.
It is a V-8, power pack 283 with a 4-bbl. carburetor and dual exhaust.
The seats still have the clear plastic on them.
Years ago, I lived and bought the car in the state of Washington, so it is a west coast car, so it has the one-piece bumpers and the box frame. I later moved to Omaha, so most of the miles on the car are highway miles that I put on going back and forth to Washington in the summers.
The few changes to the car were done by myself (4 speed and Mickey Thompson mags) just before I parked it.
I’m 86 and have finally decided it’s time to sell it.
Willing to work with someone who wants and appreciates a nice well-cared for 57 Chevy.
Asking $68,500
I only have this one outside picture of the car just before I parked it.
I did recently take a few pictures of it as it sets in the garage.

Thanks for considering this beautiful vintage car.
