Looking only for a serious buyer who wants and appreciates a well-cared for 57.
So, if you're looking, trying to find a real nice clean 1957 Chevy, Bel Air, 2-door, hardtop, this should work for you.
I parked this car in my garage, 56 years ago, due to some hard times, and I never drove it again.
The car is basically all original from the factory with all matching numbers.
The couple of changes to the car were done by myself, just before I parked it.
Before I parked this car, it was always garaged and I never drove it in the winter.
The seats still have the clear plastic on them.
It is a V-8, power pack 283 with a 4-bbl. carburetor, dual exhaust, 4 speed, and Mickey Thompson mags.
I lived and bought the car in the state of Washington, so it is a west coast car, so it has the one-piece bumpers and the box frame.
Most of the miles on the car are highway miles, that I put on going back and forth to Washington in the summer.
When I parked it, I put it up on 4 stands on the frame, drained the gas, lubed the engine with oil, put a cover on it and built a wall in the garage to protect it. I turned the engine over every year.
Asking $ 68,500
I only have this one outside picture of the car just before I parked it.
