Rare item for collectors of vintage iPod classic models. Model number is A1018. Plus this into the iPod, then plug your headphones into this. Control your music with device in your pocket or clipped on your belt. I had this specifically for the 4th Gen, but looks like it will work for the 3rd gen. I knew I had this, but could not locate this when I sold the iPod. So unfortunately I am unable to test. But if you need this, then you already have the device so bring it along and you can confirm it works.
I also found the belt clip, which is even more rare and basically brand new because I never remember using it.
