These 3 “Treasures” are new and unopened; they are in tin collector boxes.
Walt Disney Treasures is a series of two-disc DVD collections of Disney cartoons, television episodes and other material. They cover material from the studio's earliest days to its more recent work. There were nine waves, each containing two to four sets, for a total of 30 titles. All content is presented uncensored and uncut with digitally restored picture and remastered sound (except where noted on individual titles).
Leonard Maltin, hosted and curated the sets, and appears in each disc of every set to introduce the collection. Maltin insisted that all shorts be presented uncut and uncensored, and that certain shorts containing politically incorrect material be proceeded by an introduction with Maltin putting them into historical context rather than editing for censored them.
The 3 “Treasures” that I have for sale, were part of “Wave Three” (May 18,2004):
• The Chronological Donald, Volume One (2-DVD set): This set covers the first leg of Donald Duck's long career, from 1934 to 1941. Still in shrink-wrap w/ top seal
• Mickey Mouse in Living Color, Volume Two (2-DVD set); This set picks up from where Chronological Donald, Volume One leaves off. No shrink wrap but has top seal. Never played.
• On the Front Lines (2-DVD set): This set covers all the various cartoons that were themed to World War II. Still in shrink wrap w/ top seal.
Each of these “Treasures” are currently selling on Amazon for about $75 each (total $225). Asking $105, was $150 for the 3-Treasure set. Will not separate.
