12/6: Omaha Cartoonist Celebrates 50 Years of Cartooning (Omaha)

Steven Hill got into trouble drawing comics in class.
His classmates were his first readers.
His readers are now around the world.
Bunscomic.com is celebrating fifty years of its character, Buns. The event will take place Saturday December 6, 2025 at 3:30 pm at Walnut Hill Commons, 40th& Hamilton.
The celebration will include a five-decade retrospect with the creator Steven Hill. You will learn about his early cartooning days and meeting the Peanuts cartoonist Charles Schulz.
After a trip down memory lane, Hill will showcase his latest project called
“Brew HA HA HO-HO HA.” It is a slideshow with over 100 of his strips that are about coffee. Coffee lovers must see this. Hill’s original comic strips will be on display also.
The event is free and open to the public.
Come celebrate fifty years of an amazing character created in Omaha.
