Excellent condition. Very sturdy construction. Large and heavy.
Each has a faint circle near the center back of the top, possibly where a lamp sat, not too noticeable, see photo 12.

Mid century modern, clean simple lines, finely carved details
Vintage collectible fine hardwood furniture with excellent woodworking made in North Carolina probably in 1967.
These are beautifully finished on all sides so can be placed in the middle of a room alongside a sofa or pulled away from the wall.
They look magnificent at the ends of a sofa or flanking another focal point in the room.
Solid walnut wood with birch as the interior secondary wood.
The tops have a laminate type surface to prevent water glass stains.
All of the surface have deep, rich color shadings and elegant wood grain patterns.
Each has 1 drawer with dovetail joints and two brass pulls. Pulls lift up and down (see photo 13).
Drawers slide easily, no sticking, original sliders on the bottom of the legs for easy moving.
Took outside briefly to photograph in natural light.
