He is halter broke and friendly, easy to catch, loves treats, and is an in your pocket type horse.
Has had his feet trimmed and did well.
Has worn a saddle and had a teddy bear in the saddle.
Has had a bit in his mouth but only to carry it.
Loads well into an open stock trailer. Like most horses he doesn’t like a tiny 2 horse straight load trailer.
This month he was weight taped at 765lb and measured at 14.3hh, estimated to reach 15.3-16.2hh.
Up to date on shots and coggins.
Over all is usually very easy to handle and takes to new things well.
He is the low man in the totem pole and loves a buddy. Does well with big bossy mares and young foals alike. Only real vice is he has been jumping the fence and he did throw a tantrum and reared when tied up after jumping the fence on a windy day. Stays easy to catch even right after he gets out.
A 4’ high fence and he will stay in for a long time and then decide he wants out for better grass. Once he finds a spot he will go immediately back to the same spot and right back over once put back in. He will hop his front legs over and pause to eat grass before climbing his back legs over too and then stays close eating grass. Can also clear the 4’ fence jumping when he wants to.
Has jumped/climbed 5’+ fencing and gets out over them too.
I do not have electric fencing to use with him and it isn’t feasible for me to do so either.
