Drilling Stations
Each side traveling on "precision" linear guides
(1) Horizontal drilling unit with: (1) 1.2 HP (0.9 kW) - 7,200 RPM motor
1.1" (28 mm) Max. drilling depth; total length of drill bits: 2.76" (70 mm)
Dowel Inserting
Dowel dia.: 8 mm; dowel length: 30 mm; dowel projection: 7 - 14 mm
(2) Vibrating hoppers with: (1) Outlet tube for feeding of dowels on each side
Dowel size: 8 mm dia., 30 mm in length, and 7 - 14 mm projection
Operating Process
Stationary machine side is on the left side (seen in transport direction) and not adjustable
Machine is equipped with Stock feed belts; belts move the workpiece to the BGD station and clamp it into position for processing
Workpiece is transported out of the machine after processing is complete
The workpiece is transferred to the next machine or taken out manually
