JOB SUMMARY

The Biohazard Remediation Technician will play a crucial field-based role, requiring travel to various sites where trauma and biohazard remediation are needed. This is not a lab-based role; rather, technicians must be prepared to drive to locations across the region and perform on-site remediation. Technicians will manage, remediate, and meticulously clean scenes affected by trauma and hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Scene Management: Respond to emergency calls for trauma and biohazard remediation. Establish and secure the work area to prevent contamination and ensure safety. Conduct thorough assessments of the scene to determine remediation needs. Biohazard and Trauma Remediation: Perform detailed cleaning and neutralization of areas affected by trauma or biohazards, including bloodborne pathogens and other contaminants. Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials.
