Service Technician (Field-Based; Car Wash Equipment) at Wash Force

This is a field-based role where you’ll:

• Become the go-to expert for your customers

You’ll be dispatched to jobs each day, but once you’re in the field, you’re trusted to diagnose, solve problems, and manage your work independently.

If you take pride in your work, move efficiently, and fix things right the first time—you’ll do very well here.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues on car wash systems
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment running at peak performance
• Troubleshoot problems and determine the most efficient solution
• Install and replace parts and verify system functionality
• Run equipment through full operational cycles to ensure proper performance
• Train customers on proper equipment use and basic maintenance
• Identify and recommend additional service or replacement needs
• Maintain parts inventory on your service vehicle
• Complete work orders, reports, and documentation accurately

What the Job Actually Looks Like

• 1–3 sites per day
• Phone calls: Service Manager, customers, vendors, etc.
• Average of 2–4 hours of driving daily (company vehicle + gas card provided)
• Service territory: up to 4 hours from Omaha
• Mix of urgent service and scheduled preventative maintenance
• Work on all major car wash equipment brands

This is a hands-on, independent role with strong support and clear expectations.

This is starting base pay, with additional earning potential through commissions and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as a Service Technician in a related field
• Strong experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues independently
• Experience using meters and working with AC/DC systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Climb ladders, kneel, bend, and work in various environments
• Work in indoor and outdoor conditions
