Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our production team in building high-quality cable and hose management solutions for industrial applications. This role focuses on hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Successful candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented problem solvers who take pride in producing reliable products and continuously improving processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform mechanical assembly of structural components and integrated systems of varying sizes.
• Complete electrical installations, including wiring connections according to detailed specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, drills, impacts, and grinders safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and production orders.
• Use precision measurement devices to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
• Connect color-coded wiring and verify proper functionality.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineering teams to resolve design or assembly issues.
• Review and validate input from multiple departments to meet customer requirements.
• Communicate any necessary changes to maintain consistency in future production.
• Support and promote quality initiatives, including 5S workplace organization and continuous improvement efforts.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three months of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, production orders, drawings, diagrams, and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use a tape measure accurately.
• Good reasoning skills with the ability to follow instructions and address standardized problems.
• Willingness to complete internal certification training for material handling equipment, including forklift and overhead crane operation as required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
• Standing for extended periods, frequent walking, reaching, and regular lifting/moving of heavy items.
• Ability to perform overhead work, pull cable, and work safely around moving mechanical parts.
• Good vision required, including color vision and depth perception.
• Work environment may include occasional humidity, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
