This is a very good sounding, easy playing Austin AA30 D/S dreadnought sized acoustic guitar with a good Gator gig bag. The guitar is almost near new condition. This guitar is well set up, very playable, structurally solid. The guitar has a all laminated body with maple binding. A good fully functional starter guitar.
This is a nicer entry level beginners guitar that probably cost $250-$300 when new I'm guessing.
Made in China.
Do a little advance homework, Google Austin AA30 D/S and look over other information and reviews on this guitar.
The top is laminated spruce, the sides and back are a laminate mahogany specie inside and out. The neck is a mahogany specie. String action at the 12th fret is slightly over the thickness of a nickel on the high E and a little higher on the low E. The finish is in good condition, some blushing
The neck is straight and the rosewood fingerboard is in good condition. The frets are good. The two-way truss rod works properly. The neck/body joint and all internal bracing is solid. The bridge, and bridge pins are tight. Tuners are chrome die cast models, smooth and tight.
The strings are new, D'Addario EJ11 Lights, 53-12's. I polished the frets, cleaned and re-conditioned the fingerboard and bridge.
IF IT IS STILL LISTED, IT'S STILL FOR SALE
The finish is in very good overall condition. There are a couple of nicks and scuffs appropriate for a used guitar. No odors or smells.
Take the time to come play this and you will appreciate how well it sounds and plays. This is the only way to properly evaluate the guitar.
If you have a friend who plays well, bring them along to test drive it for you if needed. Get an immediate second opinion from your friend.
A very good guitar to learn on. Definitely a large step up from many entry level guitars.
This should take the "guitar" out of the learning equation if you're just getting started. Or if you are looking to upgrade from an lower entry level unit, or just have as a good second for friends to play.
