This is a good sounding, easy playing Harmony H910 1965 (?) solid birch top classical sized guitar in good overall condition. I believe the faded imprint reads 1965 but it is faded and partially on the internal label. This guitar is now very playable, structurally solid* and with a good overall finish, a few nicks. This guitar has a solid birch top, ladder braced, solid birch back and sides. Gives you that 1930's birch bodied, woody sound vibe found in the old 30's era but in a classical design. Definitely meant for nylon or gut strings. Regular steel strings will damage this guitar, again. A rosewood fingerboard and bridge. When I purchased it there was one top brace completely off rattling around inside, and two braces that were broken off leaving remnants still attached inside on the top. Now, again it's a good fully functional 60's era Harmony guitar platform that has good restoration potential. I've added a picture to compare it to another classical sized guitar.
This is a good clean example of a Harmony made guitar that has potential for restoration or to be redesigned. The neck angle is good, no reset needed. There is plenty of bone saddle on the bridge and the bone nut has been shimmed and cleaned up.
Made in the USA.
Do a little advance homework, Google Harmony H910 and look over other information and reviews on this guitar.
The top, sides and back are solid birch. The neck is a poplar. String action at the 12th fret is slightly under 4mm.
The neck is straight and there is no truss rod or bar in the neck. The rosewood fingerboard and bridge* are in good condition. The frets are good. The neck/body joint and all internal bracing is solid. The bridge is secure to the top. Tuners are original.
The strings are not new, and could use replacement shortly. I did a set up, polished the frets, cleaned and re-conditioned the fingerboard and bridge.
IF IT IS STILL LISTED, IT'S STILL FOR SALE
The finish is in good overall condition.
******Repairs*******
When I purchased the guitar it needed repairs to be playable again.
As mentioned I needed to remount a top brace that had fallen out. I fabricated the two damaged top braces from another old 60's era Harmony cadaver parts.
The bridge was damaged. A broken out corner and some missing wood. I took the bridge off, repaired the broken piece back in place, filled in the missing wood with some cadaver rosewood. Flattened the warped bottom to get it to set better. The top was slightly warped up under the bridge also. I fabricated a .10" maple bridge plate that returned the top to flat. Cleaned up both surfaces, glued with Titebond original and remounted the bridge. Added back in the original hardware, screws, washers and nut to keep that expected 60's look.
She's completely playable again.

A very good guitar to learn on. Definitely a large step up from many entry level guitars.
This should take the "guitar" out of the learning equation if you're just getting started. Or if you are looking to upgrade from an lower entry level unit, or just have as a good second for friends to play.
