Don't pay shelf price for your next transmission. I used to build shelf units for a large transmission chain. Most are fixed at best, not rebuilt.
I'm medically retired now but still love building transmissions..Just takes me a couple days to do 1 now.
I have a 4L60E 2007-2008 only ready.
Completely rebuilt. Only 975.00 exchange.
New clutches steels seals bearings pistons all of them, new sunshell, new seperator plate and reman pump I took from a unit o built less than 10,000. Miles ago. the vehicle was wrecked and I bought that transmission back.
I can rebuid most automatics foreign and domestic. I don't do Allison or CVT. Most others I can build except Volvo or Saab.
While I'm just a hobby builder now, just like to feel like I'm going to work so there's no"warranty" on my transmissions, I GUARANTEE them shift flawlessly and if it fails in a reasonable time frame a year or so, I'll fix it You just have to bring it back.
While nobody likes comebacks(transmissions that fail and need done again before they should), ANY shop who's "NEVER HAD 1 FAIL"..Run fast as you can because either they are lying, or haven't build enough. Neither is conducive to YOU getting a quality transmission at a fraction of the cost.
I ship transmissions nationwide for 475.00 shipping including sending me your core to build if you need or core return for a unit we send you.
For your next bench built transmission, Text Squirrelly.
