A little about me: I’m a non-smoker, no pets, no drama. I work regular weekday hours and am quiet, clean, and genuinely easy to live with. I’ve cohabited in a variety of situations over the years and I know how to share space respectfully.
Beyond just paying rent, I’m handy (paint, fixtures, put in dishwashers and retaining walls, repaired dryers and cars and phones and KitchenAid mixers thanks to YouTube). I enjoy cooking and baking (and sharing it), I am extremely health-conscious and respectful of others’ journey and wellness. I go to the gym almost every day, unless I have travel plans or physical labor projects at home. I also love gardening and yard landscaping work, and have skills in graphic design and photography and love to be tech support or fix smart home stuff if that’s ever useful. If you have pets, I’m great with them. If you have a yard that needs attention or projects that need doing, I’m your person. I’m looking for a situation where I can be a genuinely good addition to the household, or at the very least mind my own business and work on my physique, art, networking, and self-improvement. LOVE a project, though I try nowadays to focus on fewer things and do them well.
I’m looking for a private room, shared common areas (even if empty or in need of renovation), month-to-month is preferable, aiming for somewhere in the $500 to 650 range. I could move in a few weeks or help you to get things ready if it needed to be further out. If you might like my ~home-organizing~ that could be a trade we can trial, but tbh I always leave things nicer than I found them. I’m flexible on most things if the situation is right. Also, it would be so cool to be closer to downtown or Benson, but I’d consider anywhere in Douglas, Dodge, or even Sarpy counties.
I have steady employment, no criminal history, no eviction history. Happy to meet in person before any commitment. I’d want to see the space and you’d want to meet me.
If you have a room, or if you know someone who does, are moving but considering a bigger place and could use the additional income stability and an assist in moving, or the most exciting prospect, you have a spare room you’ve never thought to rent out but might consider it, please (genuinely) reach out.
