Although designed for photographic / video equipment, this tripod would also be excellent for a telescope.
Height adjustments:
• When the tripod legs are collapsed (ready for transport), it is 43” tall
• When the tripod legs are open in the locked position, the crank can adjust the height of the top plate from 38” to 56” tall
• When you also extend the 3 legs of the tripod, the top plate is 81 ¼” tall
The tripod is in excellent working condition and the crank has smooth operation. Everything functions as intended and cosmetically it looks good with no damage and only normal wear.
