Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. Morning shift begins at 6:15 am. Afternoon shift begins at 14:45 pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of driving regulations, excellent navigation skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles. Duties
• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles.
• Load and unload goods using pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to designated locations while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Qualifications
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving is preferred, including familiarity with manual transmission vehicles.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading tasks.
